Make TimeDon't say that you don't have time. It's the oldest excuse in the history of excuses for exercising! Make time for yourself. It's easier said than done but try to do it. For example, if you have to babysit your cousins, take them to walk in a park or engage them in an activity that allows you to move.

Prepare mentallyYou have to mentally prepare yourself and undertake this task of getting fit. If you are not fully prepared, then you will have the urge to stop yourself at any point. Even when you don't get the results you want right away, be positive and continue until you reach your goal. Motivate yourself to reach a healthy lifestyle.

Step away from the devices
Although many people use electronics to stay fit, they end up getting distracted. If you are a person who gets distracted, don't use them because then you'll want to watch a show, play games or browse the internet. Instead, go outside and get some fresh air. You don't have to do hard core exercises - just get your body moving by taking a walk, riding a bike, etc.
